Corel draw 11 crashes windows 10 free download
They said two issues, Windows 10 needs some updates and my printer drivers needed updating. I have updated the printer driver but still having issues such as missing elements on the printed page or just not spooling or printing. If I bitmapped the whole page before printing it prints okay. Not sure if it is a font issue with the printer.
Reason is that since , Microsoft has changed Windows 10 and crashes as you describe are caused by the mismatch of hardware and Windows. So this isn’t just some Windows 10 issue.
I have Win 11 Pro installed on my relatively new work desktop PC. Despite all the performance overhead, and no other graphics applications running at the same time, CorelDRAW can mysteriously hang for a split second and then the whole application window just disappears.
It happens without any warning. I had one of these crashes happen this morning; I was lucky I had manually saved my progress just a few minutes prior, so I didn’t lose all that much in the crash.
CorelDRAW has had numerous font issues spanning back at least four version cycles. When I want to use certain fonts that I’ve bought or synced from Adobe Fonts I end up forced to use a rival graphics application to get full access to those typefaces. Font handling bugs are a whole other topic though.
Two things I noticed, NVidia has a gaming and a studio driver, someone on this forum tried the studio driver and said he had better performance, I loaded the studio driver and saw the same thing so that’s what I run. The second thing is that for the past week all my systems and many of my consumer computer clients systems have been REALLY wonky. Yesterday it stopped completely. As far as Draw has been going last week I did some major jobs with 1 issue, column paragraph text being very sluggish.
Currently I have a 38 board inkjet print job that 8. That includes transparent shadows and the edit bitmap feature. I’ve tried both gaming drivers and studio drivers. The gaming drivers are installed by default.
The crashes can still happen right out of the blue. The lack of activity from Corel on these issues is pretty telling.
Meanwhile I’ve seen Adobe respond to and fix a recent issue involving the GPU-accelerated animated “scrubby” zoom in Adobe Illustrator. I’ve seen Astute Graphics respond to technical issues in their Illustrator plugins in a matter of a few days.
The point is while their software isn’t perfectly bug free and new updates can introduce new bugs at least some people in those organizations appear to be paying attention and actually doing something. For me the NVidia studio video driver helped with scrolling issues. The weird thing is just a few minutes ago I had to pull up the donor wall for some changes.
Today the column text worked quite a bit better, although I’ve had 1 major and several minor Windows updates since my last edits. Click Settings. Click System on the Settings menu. I have spent quite a bit of time looking into that error code specifically this has been going on for a year or so and that’s part of the reason I’ve tried reinstalling the OS from scratch using a USB and even replacing the machine that was running CorelDraw but the crashing always occurs for any computer running either of the programs mentioned.
