Al-Ansaar Foundation Canada works to empower vulnerable communities around the world against poverty and disaster. We help impoverished groups gain access to basic necessities, such as water, food, education, healthcare, and more.

While Al-Ansaar delivers support to millions worldwide, it is not possible without the help of the communities themselves. The communities we serve know their problems intimately. To properly address the needs of any group, it is necessary to include its members in the process. As such, Al-Ansaar works very closely with community leaders in planning initiatives and encourages participation of all members of the community in implementing them alongside the Al-Ansaar team.

Through Community-based Development we ensure that communities’ needs are thoroughly met, and that your donations are used 100% towards the projects on hand, hence allowing bringing maximum and long-lasting change.

All our projects are posted on our website. Donors will have the opportunity to select which project they would like to contribute towards. As such, project updates will be provided on our website and social media pages as we get closer to reaching our goals. 

We further advise donors that we have a 100% donation policy which means every cent that is donated is allocated towards its rightful recipients.
