After extensive research, the reason for this rando pop up yoy due to the windows feature update after and 20H2. It seems that the updates are causing a permissions issue for users and or a failed successful windows build update.

I have 2 solutions to follow: First, check windows updates and run it licenee see if it errors out. If it DoesUninstall Office using the removal tool. Once it is done removing all of office and its features, it will ask for a reboot. Once logged back in, if the machine has updated to 20H2, remove it.

Then run the Windows Assistance tool. You can dl it here. This tool is only for machines with Cannor builds to 20H2. Once completed, reboot and run windows updates again. You will then be able to dl and install the latest patches. Then reinstall office. After installation, run word to verify the msg is gone. Windows 10 Enterprise. I had been running system restore and delaying Windows Feature update, and it eventually re-installs. So your regedit fix worked great.
